DESCRIPTION

Dries Van Noten exemplified his craftsmanship during his AW14 collection. The back-zip bomber is hefty and intricate with a black moleskin cotton outer and embellished with Riri zips all around. Other details include metal snaps and loops, canvas strap detailing, contrast lining, and an internal chest pocket.

Those Van Noten signatures of long-standing were replaced by color—tie-dyed, dip-dyed blues, pinks, yellows, and greens—and a different kind of elaborate embellishment: trailing laces and bondage straps, dyed fox scarves, pearls trimming high, frilled collars…some of the details you'd see in ancient portraits.
