Cesare Leonardi was an accomplished Italian architect and designer who excelled in various artistic fields including photography, sculpture, and painting, alongside his notable work in fibreglass furniture. Franca Stagi, another talented Italian architect, specialized in urban planning and industrial design. The duo established their own studio in 1963 in Moderna, focusing on local architectural projects for parks and collective structures. Their significant study on trees was showcased in a 2019 exhibition at the Cartier Foundation in Paris. Their works are also prominently featured in renowned institutions such as MoMA in New York, the V&A in London, and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein.
