The Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2017 collection marks a significant step forward by reintroducing the house's haute couture heritage. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Balenciaga's founding, select shapes and volumes from Cristobal Balenciaga's couture dresses have been reinterpreted based on in-house photographs. These made-to-order dresses are either adorned with the original BB house logo or labeled on the back with the year, collection, and garment description. Additionally, practical pockets have been added to several gowns, and some luxurious couture fabrics are extended to matching Bazar bags.
