Tom Ford's Spring 2004 collection at YSL epitomized a fusion of the twenties and thirties aesthetics. He reimagined Yves Saint Laurent's original designs by elongating and refining them, showcasing sinuous satins and chiffons. Ford's collection featured louchely draped satin suits in powder-blue, structured with wide hip fastenings and new-shaped loose pants.
