CRYSTAL BULLET BELT
AW2001

DESCRIPTION

The crystal bullet belt can be considered as an ode to Jun Takahashi’s punk origins and values. Short for ’Decorated Armed Voluntary Forces,’ D.A.V.F. featured masked models wearing military garments emblazoned with sparkling gems, a statement to stand against war. Furthermore, the belt was likely influenced by the style of Crust Punk, Heavy Metal, and punk culture at large. Under intense light the bullets brighten with iridescent qualities.
