Raf Simons, S/S 2004 'May the circle be unbroken' 2004 marked Raf Simons' shift in his design philosophy, straying away from his daring and youthful designs to a much more mature approach to menswear. Indeed, this collection exemplified a rare instance of Raf breaking away from slim silhouettes and grunge glamour. 'May the circle be unbroken' was tranquil, down-to-earth but also to an extent other-worldly. This pure collection, presented in July of 2003 at Parc Floral de Paris, comprised of psychological, surreal runway looks of spiritualism, gnosticism and mysticism.
