COVERAGE

For his Autumn / Winter 2001 show, Jean Paul Gaultier took a much darker approach to the optical illusion motifs executed in several of his previous collections. The haunting semblance of recurrent shrouded figures hidden within the prints that adorned the garments forged a surreal atmosphere akin to McQueen’s runway presentation aesthetic.
