AUTUMN/WINTER 2004

Season Coverage

For the 2004 Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear menswear collection Issey Miyake introduced over 40 looks in his best traditions, therefore once again creating a distinctive concoction of practicality and design. The models presented a wide range of garments starting from tailored suits, graphic dancing-man-patterned shirts, and zipped hoodies to nylon bomber jackets, reconstructed sweaters, and cocoon puffer jackets transformed into sleeping bags on the runway. The ample color palette used in this collection by the esteemed Japanese designer ranged from serene beige to lucid orange and blue.
