2007 was back-to-back great shows. The first is the SS “We Look Good Together,” a minimal, monochromatic interpretation of “The New club kid” who likes to feel luxurious wearing highly tailored garments with interesting cuts and incredible fabrics. Notably, the glasses this season were his best so far, and the ties, suits, and leather jackets were some of the skinniest yet. Hedi presented very 70’s looking glasses with oversized circular frames and gradient tints. This season also showcased some incredibly refined garments, almost couture-like, this was not unlike Hedi Slimane as he experimented very much with new shapes and silhouettes that were unlike those of traditional menswear. Slimane always presented attractive footwear, sometimes sneakers and sandals, but most of the time, boots. Hedi Slimane’s aesthetic from bottom to top has always been quite feminine and always been worn and appreciated by women. This collection was undoubtedly more authentic to the Hedi Slimane Rock n Roll vision. Once again designing some very appealing punk like suits; Slimane also presented his impeccably slim tailored trousers paired with boots. Ultimately, the vision is very chic, and Rockstar like.
