Winter 2005 “In the Morning,” a runway owned by glamorous Rock Stars. As they stomped down the down runway with gold or black Cuban heeled boots, they embodied Hedi’s elegance and approach to glamour. Along with the boots came slim, sharp tailoring of leather jackets, trench coats, blazers, trousers, and more.

The collection is very much inspired by Rock and similar subgenres, referencing David Bowie and Pete Doherty of “The Libertines.” Hedi Slimane presents a series of slim tailored trousers with the slightest flares; over the years, this has become a Hedi Slimane staple, but the dark, grungy, punk-like attitude of the clothes and collection are unique to this period of Dior.
